I’ve not had much time for blogging this last few weeks, as we’ve been sorting out our move to Ledbury, and then had no internet for 10 days. But I’ve started to get more time for it these last few days, as the house and garden have steadily come together. Last weekend I met up with Marc Wood, a furniture maker who I had done some photography for in late 2013. My wife had bought a desk that Marc had made to her specifications, and he was kind enough to deliver it to Ledbury from Somerset (it’s a beautiful desk, by the way).
After setting the desk up, and over a cup of tea, we got into a conversation about the photographs I’d taken for him – he’s still using some of them regularly in his advertising, which is great to hear. It also got me wondering how some of my other clients had used my photographs and if they were still valuable to them. After a bit of searching around the internet:
Tom Yeoman Ltd is now Yeoman (SW) Ltd, and they have a new website where they’ve used several of the photographs I’ve taken for them on the main page and in one of their case studies (Topsham). Exeter Community Initiatives, a charity based in Exeter that I’ve worked with over the past 4 years, have used my photographs of their events for leaflets and posters, including their Share Scheme leaflet, which is a part of their fundraising efforts.
The Society of Mary and Martha used my photographs of the official opening of their new greenhouse in their regular newsletter. I hope to be doing more photography for them at an event this August. Create IT Group use the photos I took for them as the header images on Twitter and Facebook, and have recently made a promotional leaflet that uses my photographs of the office and the team at work.
The Mysterious Freakshow, a fabulous Steampunk band from the South West, have continued to use the photographs that I’ve taken for them at concerts and Steampunk events, plus the band photo shoot, in their social media and to advertise their gigs.
So if you’re a new visitor to this site, and you want to find out how beautiful photographs can help your business, charity or band, or if you want personal portrait photographs, just get in touch with me. I’ll be happy to help.
