Photos from my life during the third lockdown – Part 9
The third lockdown in England, to help save lives and reduce the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on the NHS, began in early January. It’s a feeling we now know well, but the importance of which has only grown. I’m spending my time at home with work, fine art photography and recording some of my life: Photos from inside a Lockdown 3. This is Part 9. (View all of the Photos from Inside a Lockdown blogs)
The weeks go on, and while I’ve been busier working from my home studio doing some product photography, I still take the time to walk my dogs every afternoon. It’s an important part of my day, as it is for them too.
Spring is so here, with flowers starting to bloom in the gardens around the woods. Soon the woods themselves will be full of wood anemones and bluebells. The sun is setting later, and is warmer, despite the cold wind and showers we’ve had in the past couple of weeks.
I’ve also included a video for Beneath and Above, as the birds were chirping in the trees around me when I took the photos, so I though it only right that the sounds of the birds and the wind in the trees should accompany the photos to help give my place more meaning.
We don’t know exactly how much longer this lockdown will need to last, though the end is in sight, but it’s for the benefit of everyone that we all follow the rules and keep each other safe. A little while longer and we can come out of this better together, and build anew for everyone. Stay safe.
