Photos from my life during the lockdown Part 3
Since the UK is now under a travel restriction lockdown, I’m not able to travel to take photos for my clients. So I’m documenting my time, working and living, with photos I’ve taken from inside my home and in the garden and on my once-daily exercise, walking my dogs: Photos from inside a lockdown. This is Part 3. You can see Part 1 here, Part 2 here, Part 4 here, Part 5 here, Part 6 here, Part 7 here, Part 8 here, Part 9 here, Part 10 here, Part 11 here, Part 12 here, Part 13 here, Part 14 here.
The weather is warming up, and the wildflower meadow in my garden is showing it’s first flowers – cowslips have come up and are blooming better than ever before. The dogs are getting more attention than usual, though it’s shedding season and they really do need those brushings.
I’ve been out once for a food shop – it’s an odd experience standing in a queue to get into the grocery store. Everyone in the store is doing a dance to get around each other while maintaining a safe distance. Thanks to all the people still working in such essential services.
I’ve been out with my telescope on a clear night to view and photograph Venus passing through the Pleiades, and event that happens once every 8 years from Earth’s view point. And out on my once-daily exercise, I’m continuing to see, at a safe social-distance, other dog walkers – people I’ve known sometimes for years. This is Hilary with Daisy.
Stay home and stay healthy and protect yourselves and everyone else.
