I mentioned a few weeks back that I was looking at updating my website. Well, as is often the case with website work, this is taking longer than expected. I had hoped to take my site offline yesterday and bring it back up on Wednesday with the new design. However, the rest of my life has got in the way somewhat (the week off in Pembrokeshire didn’t help the update, but it was a good week) and I’m now looking at taking the site offline this coming Sunday, with completion of the update and re-launch by mid-next week.
In the meantime, a brief look at what I’ve been doing recently. I’m sorting out a date for taking publicity photos of The Wattingers, a Devon-based SteamPunk band that I’ve photographed a number of times in concert. I’ll definitely put a blog and some photos up when that’s done. I’m really looking forward to it.
I’ve also done some work for Exeter Community Initiatives (ECI), taking photos at the Jelly charity shop and the three Children’s Centres that ECI runs. Due to the photography permission forms that ECI uses when photographs are taken of any of it’s clients or service users, I won’t be able to put up many photographs from those sessions, but here’s one that I can, taken at Chestnut Children’s Centre during a play session.
So, with fingers crossed, next week the new site will be ready, and visitors will be able to view even more of my photographs, presented in a much more elegant fashion.
